Privacy Issues Abound:
An important point has to be made and realized by lawyers and by everyone using the Web: content on the Internet is permanent. Once something is on the Internet, it’s there. You can’t scrub what you have put up there for everyone to see. So, when your kids use foul language and sexual photos or express anarchic thoughts or admit to illegality on the Internet and then seek a job, they should be prepared to be investigated on the Internet and, probably, have trouble getting the job they want. That’s true likewise for corporations, personnel and employees, CEOs and plaintiffs.
