I've said this before - don't click through links in emails, type in the url into your browser. I just received an email ostensibly from Amazon about a cancelled order, which, of course, I had never placed. My Gmail account caught it and marked it as unverified and checking Amazon's Help page confirmed that this is the lates in an attempt to get people to click on links heedlessly.
- from the Amazon page
"If you received an e-mail regarding the cancellation of an order you don't recognize, please check Your Orders in Your Account. If you can't find a matching order, the e-mail you received wasn't from Amazon.com. We recommend that you delete the e-mail. There's no need to report it to us."
