I'm on a mission to de-clutter & simplify and as I do so, am having a great time! First, I found a letter from my 7th grade math teacher, who I have a strong memory of, and wrote to her and we reconnected and have emailed and talked.
Then I found a paper I wrote back in the early 60's which received an A, but a great little note from the teacher as well: "you have once more done a very complete and scholarly job, minutely following instructions. Watch out for mechanics and limit your commas which you tend to use profusely". I'm not sure I have changed much: I still "minutely" follow instructions, where possible, and use commas profusely. But it's great fun to find these little notes and reminders of my teachers.
